Dear WMS Families,

After much reflection and with a full heart, I have decided to retire at the end of this school year. It has been an incredible honor to serve as principal of Westside Middle School for the past eight years.

During this time, I have had the privilege of working alongside passionate educators, dedicated staff, supportive families, and—most importantly—remarkable students who have inspired me every single day.

I am deeply proud of the progress we have made together, especially the strong sense of community that defines Westside Middle. These accomplishments reflect the hard work, commitment, and collaboration of our entire school family, as well as the continued support of the Barrow County School System.

As I prepare to enter this next chapter, I look forward to spending more time with loved ones and exploring new opportunities. Thank you for the trust, partnership, and encouragement you have shown throughout my time here. I remain confident in the continued success of Westside Middle School and BCSS.
