Westside Middle School is proud to celebrate the exceptional accomplishments of its band students at this year’s Large Group Performance Evaluation (LGPE). During the event, each ensemble is evaluated by a panel of adjudicators and receives ratings based on performance quality. These ratings include:

• Superior (1): Outstanding performance; among the very best
• Excellent (2): High‑quality performance with minor areas for improvement
• Good (3): Solid performance with clear potential for growth
• Fair (4): Noticeable weaknesses and uncertainty
• Poor (5): Significant room for improvement and lack of preparedness

This year, Westside’s band students shined on both the stage and in the sight‑reading room, demonstrating skill, preparation, and musical maturity.
