Principal’s Message

Dear Westside Families,

I am incredibly honored and excited to introduce myself as the new principal of Westside Middle School. While this is a new chapter for me professionally, Westside feels a bit like coming home. I began my educational career here many years ago, and I am grateful for the opportunity to return and serve a school community that means so much to me.

Middle school is a time of tremendous growth. Our students are discovering who they are, building confidence, developing independence, and preparing for the future. It is a privilege to be part of that journey, and I am committed to ensuring that every student who walks through our doors feels valued, supported, challenged, and loved.

I firmly believe that the strongest schools are built on strong relationships. When families, educators, and community members work together, incredible things happen for children. I want you to know that your voice matters. Your partnership matters. My goal is to build meaningful connections with our families and create a bridge between home and school that helps every Husky reach their full potential.

As your principal, my door will always be open. I value honesty, communication, and collaboration, and I look forward to getting to know each of you in the months ahead. Together, we will celebrate successes, work through challenges, and create a school culture where everyone feels welcomed, respected, and supported.

These values are more than words on a wall—they are the foundation of who we are and who we aspire to be as Huskies.

I am excited about the journey ahead and the opportunities that await our students. Thank you for welcoming me into the Westside family. I look forward to partnering with you as we create a school where every student learns, grows, achieves, and feels a true sense of belonging.
